Single serve brownie… I CAN ENJOY IT EVERY DAY!
I am the only one in my family who loves brownies, so I usually make one for myself. This single serve brownie recipe is absolutely my favourite; it is fudgy and delicious.
I also LOVE how simple and easy it is to make with just a handful of ingredients.

Single Serve Brownie
I made brownies with cherry pie filling a week ago, and they were AMAZING. However, the recipe is for a big family, not a single serve.
Today, as I am the only one in my family who craves brownies, I went for this easy brownie recipe, and I really love how convenient and easy it is.
Plus, the brownie turned out so chocolaty, fudgy and delicious.
You'll Need

I will give you an overview of all the ingredients I used to make the recipe. Complete information on ingredients and quantities is in the recipe card at the end of the post.
- Butter: I used unsalted butter.
- Brown sugar
- Egg yolk
- Vanilla extract: To add flavor.
- Flour: I used all-purpose flour.
- Cocoa powder: I highly recommend using high-quality cocoa powder for better taste.
- Pinch of salt
- Chocolate chips: I used milk chocolate chips; however, you may use dark or white chocolate chips.
How To Make a Brownie For One
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F / 180C and grease a ramekin or oven-safe mug with butter.

Step 2: In a small bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 3: Mix in the vanilla extract and the egg yolk until combined.

Step 4: Now, fold in the flour, cocoa powder and pinch of salt until incorporated.

Step 5: Add the chocolate chips and mix.

Step 6: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared ramekin (I like to sprinkle more chocolate chips on top) and bake for 15 to 17 minutes until the center looks set. TA-Dh, it is done!
Tip: Don't overbake the brownies for the best results; otherwise, they will turn out dry, not fudgy, as you want.
Tip: To check if it was cooked, I inserted a small skewer into the center, which should come off clean or with a few cake crumbs.
