Yesterday, a reader asked me: Can I bake cookies in the microwave? So, I made microwave cookies to experiment and answer his question.

My answer is yes, you can bake cookie dough in the microwave. It is a SUPER easy and delicious dessert that takes less than two minutes to make, and it is AMAZING!

    Microwave Cookies

I actually LOVE microwave dessert recipes! I have baked a whole chocolate cake in the microwave before, and it was so good. Baking cookies in the microwave is even easier.

To make these quick cookies, you just need to mix the ingredients and bake them in the microwave for 90 seconds. That's it! They are super soft and rich, and I prefer to serve them warm.

This recipe is AMAZING for making a small batch of cookies or just single-serving cookies.

Microwave strength and time can vary. My microwave is 800 W, and it took me 60 seconds to fully bake the cookies.

If your microwave is 1000 W or higher, I highly recommend microwaving the cookers at a lower power setting to prevent overbaking.

Using all the ingredients at room temperature is key to achieving the best texture. I also added some milk chocolate chips for extra flavor.
