Honey Glazed Salmon Recipe
Baked salmon is stable in my house; we love it! Here’s a little secret: choose thicker fillets, they stay perfectly juicy when baked.
The glaze of this recipe is absolutely delicious and perfectly balanced. It is sweet, tangy, rich and savory! Make sure to reserve some to drizzle on the top of the salmon after baking; it adds a shiny, flavorful layer.
You can serve this dish with potato salad, steamed vegetables, Zucchini Patties or Chimichurri Rice.

You'll Need
- Salmon fillets: I use fresh, skin on salmon fillets, which weigh about 140 g each.
- Soy sauce: I use dark and light soy sauce to balance the flavor.
- Pomegranate Molasses: It add flavor and pairs really well with soy sauce.
- Butter: It adds richness to this dish. You can replace it with olive oil or sesame oil.
- Garlic: I use fresh garlic.
- Lemon juice
- Honey: If you want the best flavor, use raw honey.
- Ginger

How To Make The Best Baked Salmon

One: Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F. Make sure to line a baking pan with parchment pepper to avoid the dish from sticking to the middle of the pan.
Two: In a small saucepan, heat the butter and add the garlic; cook for 1 minute medium-high heat or until fragrant.
Three: Add honey, pomegranate molasses, light and dark soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced ginger. Bring to a boil, simmer for about 3 minutes, and then turn off the heat.

Four: Now, place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet (skin side down), and spoon the honey glaze all over the salmon fillets (reserve some for topping).
Five: Cover the baking pan tightly with aluminum foil sheet and bake for 10 minutes and then uncover the baking pan and bake for 5 minutes more (Just for caramelization).
Six: Drizzle the salmon fillets with the remaining sauce glaze, then serve!

Pro Tips
- Don't Overcook the salmon; otherwise, it will dry.
- Check doneness with a fork: Salmon is cooked when the flesh flakes off easily. You can do this by gently pressing your salmon fillet with a fork.
- Taste the glaze to adjust it to your liking.
