Ingredients

unsalted butter

vanilla extract

ground cinnamon

teaspoon
ground nutmeg
Instructions
Cream the butter and sugar using the electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
Fold in the flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Now, wrap the bowl with a plastic wrap and chill for 1-2 hours.
Before baking, preheat the oven to 180C / 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the dough per cookie and then put balls on the baking sheet, allowing 1-2 inches between them.
Bake for 10-11 minutes, then allow to cook for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
I highly recommend sifting all the dry ingredients before using them to ensure there are no lumps in the batter.
