Candied Carrots are a simple and easy side dish that is buttery and glazed with brown sugar. It is perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or an everyday dessert.
In a large pan, add the carrot pieces and 1 cup of water over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook the carrots for 9-10 minutes or until softened.
Drain the carrot from the water.
Put the pan on the stove, and add brown sugar, butter, carrot, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, and make sure that carrots are coated in the glaze.
