Ingredients
4
salmon fillets
For the Honey soy glaze
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
3
tablespoon
honey
2
tablespoon
soy sauce
4
cloves
garlic
, minced
¼
teaspoon
black pepper
3
tablespoon
butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 220°C/430°F. Make sure to line a baking sheet with parchment pepper to avoid the dish from sticking to the middle of the pan.
In a small saucepan, heat the butter and add the garlic; cook for 1 minute medium-high heat or until the garlic is brown.
3 tablespoon butter,
4 cloves garlic
Add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, simmer for about 3 minutes, and then turn off the heat.
1 tablespoon lemon juice,
3 tablespoon honey,
2 tablespoon soy sauce,
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Now, place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet (skin side down), and spoon the honey glaze all over the salmon fillets (reserve some for topping).
4 salmon fillets
Cover the baking tray tightly with aluminum foil sheet and bake for 15-18 minutes or until the salmon is cooked.
Brush the salmon fillets with the remaining sauce glaze, then serve!
Notes
Make sure to bake the salmon wrapped in foil. This keeps locking in the moisture and results in a tender salmon baked to perfection.
Keep the skin on the salmon for better cooking. This provides a layer between salmon and pan and keeps your salmon from overcooking.
