In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, garlic, cilantro, chilies, ginger, breadcrumbs, lime juice and all the seasonings until combined.
Divide the mixture into 4 balls and form them into burger patties.
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat, add the patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side.
Slice the buns open, place a cooked patty on each bun and, add onion slices, tomato slices and top with a tablespoon of the curry mayo, then serve right away.

Avoid using extra lean meat for this recipe because fat helps the burgers to be juicy, and it also enhances the flavor.
