A delicious coconut popcorn recipe in which popcorn kernels are popped in coconut oil on the stove. This super easy snack recipe requires only 3 ingredients.
In a large pot, add both popcorn and coconut oil over medium heat (cover the pot with a lid).
2 tablespoon coconut oil, ½ cup popcorn kernels
As the popcorn starts to pop, shake the pot constantly.
After about 3-5 minutes, the popping will slow.
Now, turn off the heat and transfer the popcorn into a large bowl and sprinkle with salt.
¼ teaspoon sea salt
Notes
I recommend choosing a pot that has a handle/handles, so it becomes easier for you to shake once the kernels start popping.
Choose a pot large enough for the amount of kernel you’re cooking because you don’t want the kernels popping out of the pot and scattering all over your kitchen.
